We offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your murals desired needs. Our approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions. To answer any questions we have provided a basic list below.
What surfaces can be painted?
Almost any surface can be painted, including brick, concrete, plaster/drywall, wood, and metal (e.g., roller doors).
How should the wall be prepared?
Surfaces should be clean, dry, and sealed. Ideally the surface should be primed (we offer priming as part of the quote) to ensure the mural sticks to your desired surface and ensures the longevity of the mural. Rough or uneven surfaces may require additional preparation.
How long does a mural last?
A professionally painted outdoor mural should last between 5 and 10 years and possibly longer for an indoor mural.
how do you protect the mural?
We use high-quality paints suited to the environment and at an additional cost we can apply UV-protective, weather-resistant, or anti-graffiti coatings to ensure longevity.
What is the process from consultation to mural?
We will ideally exchange emails and have a discovery call to discuss your ideas, mood board and price range. I will provide a quote for 3 different sizes. The next step is contracts and the mural design (which I create). I offer 2 "touch ups" to the design - either a removal, re-arrangement, additional feature or colour palette change. We then arrange a time to paint the mural. Last invoice is sent out and finalisation of mural!
How much does a mural cost?
Pricing will vary based on size, complexity(detail), location, and surface, but starts around $1,500 and can range up to $80,000. As a guide, I work by square meter and an hourly rate.
What is the typical timeline for a mural?
A typical project, from consultation to completion, can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, with active painting usually spanning 1–10 days depending on size.
